I was born on 24th July 1936, in a small trader family and at a tender age of 12, I had to work to pay my tuition fees both at school as well as college.  I used to live in a 10 x 10 room in a chawl, which had 22 tenants.

The lessons of honesty, integrity and to be kind and humble to people have been imbibed in me from my parents.
