Apollo Rape Case - IMA Inquiry facts
  1.  21 year old patient was suffering from severe dengue. She was on ventilator initially and later on the day of the incident on T peace ventilation
  2. She was semi conscious on the day of the event with high ammonia levels
  3. Apollo has 12 bedded ICU which is 6 feet away from nursing station with full strength of 6-8 nurses
  4. ICU has no door and all cubicles have simple curtains
  5. Patient does not remember the details
  6. The doctors has not confessed the crime
  7. The doctor is registered with Gujrat Medical Council and is a resident

Daylong conference on ‘Rural Health and Sustainable Development in India’ takes place in the National Capital 
Organised by the Indian Medical Association in collaboration with Bharat Niti INHR University Jaipur and Government of Assam 
 
 
New Delhi, September 10, 2016: Recognising the need to raise awareness about the shortage of medical practitioners in rural areas and unavailability of quality medical care, a daylong conference on 'Rural Health and Sustainable Development' was organised by the Indian Medical Association in collaboration with Bharat Niti INHR University Jaipur and Government of Assam at Hotel Le Meridien today. 
 
None other than Dr Jitendra Singh - Honorable Union Minister for Prime Minister’s Office, his message, emphasised how more doctors must come forward to serve in rural areas to ensure accessibility of quality medical care for the people.
